Raleigh has a pleasant climate in general; Spring and Fall are long and mild, and the winter is short and not very cold relative to many parts of the US. Snow in the winters is unusual. However, summers are hot and very humid; please note that if you are arriving for the May-August period, it will be VERY hot and humid toward the latter part of your stay, as early- to mid-August is the warmest time of year! The following table lists the average high and low temperatures for each month, along with rainfall and humidity.
